That’s what it feels like driving on the road to and from my abode. We are constantly dodging potholes, even the ones which have recently been “repaired.” That was a futile use of taxpayer funding.
I still advocate for cake decorators to take over this job. They could at least smooth the asphalt so as not to create a new divot in the road or obstacle to overcome. Perhaps this summer will bring us some repaving, a more long-term solution.
Just throwing in my two cents on a Monday.
I went to a cake decorating demo on Saturday. There is something hypnotic about watching a master at work. This lady would be excellent at smoothing over pot holes!
I should go to a cake decorating class. I’m going to be baking on Thursday or Friday – and my cakes always look a little lopsided at some point. Thus, they are heavily frosted to conceal the issue. Maybe I, too, could clean up the streets?
Your “Indy” friend ran over a whopper, shortly after blew out my tire, a line up of cars and busses behind me, it was a disaster. A kind young man (thank you Jesus), stopped, put on the spare and I made it home. 2 new front tires and a alignment later I’m so over potholes🙂
My fear is the ruin of a wheel. Glad you were safe and rescued!
